Stephen McNamara confirms his intent to run for municipal office in Tiny Township in 2026 for the position of Councillor (one of three)
Short Bio: Over 100 years ago the McNamara family moved to Penetanguishene and Tiny Township. Ever since generations of the family have lived and worked in the community. Stephen McNamara moved North from Windsor Ontario and he's never wanted to live anywhere else
Relevant background experience: In 2001 Stephen moved to Tiny full time to take a leadership role in the family business as Owner/Operator of Kings Buffet in Barrie and Orillia. Kings Buffet was the first sponsor of The Barrie Dragon Boat Festival and Stephen was a committee member. He was an Organizer of the the Tom coffin Memorial Golf Tournament, Sponsor of The Season Center for Grieving Children. Through Kings Buffet he provided food for the Out of the Cold program in Barrie. He was also a sponsor of the Orillia Perch Festival.
At the University Of Windsor Stephen is the Founder of the Kappa Mu Chapter of Sigma Chi International Fraternity. The Fraternity provides leadership training and mentorship, focuses on Community and Charity involvement.
