Short Bio: Sean Miskimins is a third-generation resident of Tiny Township who has spent his life living, working, and giving back to the community he proudly calls home. Deeply connected to the people, shoreline, rural character, and traditions of Tiny, Sean believes in protecting what makes the township special while planning responsibly for the future.

Sean currently serves as Deputy Mayor of Tiny Township and County Councillor, where he works on behalf of residents on local and regional issues including infrastructure, environmental protection, responsible development, community services, economic growth, and long-term planning. He is known for being approachable, collaborative, and focused on practical solutions that reflect the values of the community.

Professionally, Sean has more than 30 years of leadership experience in human resources, organizational development, education, and executive consulting. Through his work as a senior HR leader and consultant, he has helped organizations improve leadership, strengthen teams, manage change, and build stronger workplaces.

Sean’s connection to Tiny Township goes beyond politics. It is rooted in family, community involvement, volunteerism, and a genuine commitment to preserving the township’s unique identity for future generations. He believes strong communities are built through listening, cooperation, and making balanced decisions that put residents first.

Sean currently serves as Deputy Mayor of Tiny Township and County Councillor, representing residents on both local and regional issues. In his municipal role, he has worked on matters involving infrastructure, shoreline and environmental protection, economic development, emergency preparedness, recreation, governance, responsible growth, and long-term financial planning. He has also helped strengthen relationships between municipalities, community organizations, regional partners, and residents to ensure Tiny Township has a strong and respected voice at the county level.

Professionally, Sean has held senior leadership positions in both the private and public sectors. He currently works as a Principal Consultant, providing expertise in leadership development, workforce planning, labour relations, organizational change, employee engagement, and strategic planning.

Beyond his professional and municipal work, Sean has always believed in giving back to the community. He has supported local initiatives, volunteers, recreation programs, and community organizations that help make Tiny Township and North Simcoe strong, connected, and vibrant places to live.
